Heritage Angler, I guess you can add me to the list. I talked it over with Old Lefty and we will ride down together. I see no one has signed up to tie a terrestrial so I will tie my Foam Beetle. Never did anything like this but sounds like a good time. If you can will you put me on the seating chart next to FoxGap239. Thanks. That way we can pick on each other without yelling across the room. :p

Sounds good to me.

Be careful about picking on the Fox - he's been known to practice voodoo. Heaven knows what he's likely to do with a bodkin in hand. :-o

Glad to see you're gonna make this event. I'll put you down for an ant - they're a must have in everyone's fly box. Let me know if this is OK with you. You can always change your mind later on.

Ok..I'm not going to be the only spectator. How about a one feather bugger? Great tie for those of me with a minimal skillset....

Is your dissociative identity disorder acting up again?

Nothing wrong with your tying skills - some of you tie nice flies.

Count me in on attending, maybe more than just spectator. My novice level flies do catch fish with my main interest in altering forms of the soft hackle wet.

I will do CDC Sulphurs.

You'll have the nicest vise in the room. :)

Rick - You just saved me an email inviting you to this event. There's several dozen copies of your cdc sulphur in my sulphur box.

For those that can't make this event, you can see SkyBlue tie some of his patterns on videos he posts on his website. His ties have worked very well for me!

Looking forward to it.

Hi Ed! great to see that Rick will be at the event. He's a hell of a tier!! I've been racking my brain on what to tie and I've got it down to two types. Maybe you have a preference.

October Caddis (Orvis style)
Marabou style salmon fly

Im still pretty new to the salmon stuff but you know me I'm always interested in new types of things to tye and fish for.

What do you think?
Dont forget to keep me close to Lefty

Whichever pattern you think is best for you - doesn't matter to me.

I'll put you at the same table as Rick, with the Southpaw on the other side, and delta next to him. The "hot seat". :-o

There's a couple of non-PAFF members that are tying, and their skill level is off the charts. Not sure what they're tying yet, but looking at the attendance list, we've already got some serious tying skills on display.

This is gonna be something to see!

Ed, any news on the guest that would be sitting by me?

He's busy collecting beer cans to throw at you next month.

haha, good. I haven't seen him in a while. And I totally forgot that it's so soon!

Ed,

Can you change the name of my fly to the "LW Frontliner". Same fly, but want to give credit to the original creator.

No problem. It's always a good idea to give credit where credit is due, and Loren certainly deserves credit for his great patterns.

looks like a great line up of tyers...

what is the projected attendance based on past years.
is it all PAFF members, or is there some local media coverage opening it up to the general public?
