Lively Legz Iso nymphs
In case anyone is wondering.... I know the dorsal line on an about to emerge Iso nymph is not a greenish translucent color. I liked the look of a thin piece of pearl Flashabou and tied it in and then hit it with a little UV.

artridge, Peacock and Plastic

Hook - Mustad 3399, 3906 or equivalent

Thread - UTC wood duck

Body - 1 strand doubled of tan mesh vegetable bag

Ribbing - 1 strand doubled of tan mesh vegetable bag twisted into a rope and colored with a marker

Thorax - Peacock herl

Hackle - Hungarian partridge

Tie in the doubled strand of mesh bag material behind the hook eye and wrap to the bend of the hook to create the body. Now twist the strand into a rope, color with a marker and wrap the ribbing to the eye. Tie off and trim.

nfrechet's ties are so immaculate. I'm curious though, with the care and precision it takes to create these perfect flies, how long does it take to tie a single one of what we are admiring? Compared to a hack like me throwing a bugger together, I mean. ;)

My first attempts at wiggle nymphs. They look neat but don't know if they will fish any better than regular style.
