Midge swap

Did you distribute midges at the beginners get together? How were they received? I would imagine conditions didn't allow for their use!

Yes sir, we distributed all of the midges into baggies with all of the other flies that were donated. They were well received I am sure. My buddy is a real newbie and he counted over 80 flies in his baggy. I think there was 12 or 13 baggies handed out.

to whoever tied the black midge with a cdc puff off the head, about a size 18, this fish told me to tell you it tasted awesome.

Nice. I caught him last night around 7:30pm on the Little Lehigh. Flow is still high but it's not muddy. Only slightly discolored. I was having luck on WD40s and I ran out of them so I threw on your fly, trailing it behind a heavy nymph and some shot. He smacked it in a fast moving deep pool. I actually sat down last night and knocked out some of them. Thanks again.
