recommendations for magnification on stream

I have Cliqs hanging around my neck. When I need them I just snap them together in front of my sunglasses. I don't care for the type that attaches to you hat. Before the Cliqs, I used the ones that clipped to the center of the sunglasses.

I was told by my eye doctor when I was I was in my forties that when your close up vision is deteriorating, magnification alone won’t help. I’m a dental technician by trade or so I do a lot of close up work. I went to lined bifocals so I could hone in on things. I wore Cocoons over my regular glasses for a few years. I got a pair of prescription Ray Ban sunglasses with lined bifocals eight years ago and they worked out fine. I just got a new updated pair this year and they work fine even in low light. So, magnification alone may not be enough.

I bought a pair of polarized bi-focul sunglasses from Amazon that serve the purpose

I had my eye Dr make me prescription glasses for distance, and put a magnification insert in the lens for tying knots. I also added the transitions shading feature so that they are dark in full sun, but are clear as it gets dark. This way I can fish dawn to dark without changing glasses at all.

These are pretty sweet. My Dad put them in his sunglasses and they are work really well.

I had those and liked them until one fell in the water. I went back to conventional magnifiers.
