GRP and jerseygeorge have asked to opt out of the swap. To those of you that have already sent flies, the extras will go to the Mods and Dave K. If you haven't sent your flies yet, you have the option of dropping two or giving them to the Mods/Dave.

I got a swarm of these these guys to the post office this morning:

Olive Stimulator Hopper
Hook: Curved Dry Fly #8
Thread: UTC fluorescent fire orange 70 denier
Tail: Red deer hair loosely stacked and tied in as underbody
Rib: fine gold wire
Abdomen: Hopper body dubbing (see below)
Rear hackle: Black palmered
Wing: Olive deer hair
Legs: Tied pheasant Tail
Thorax: Hopper thorax dubbing (see below)
Thorax hackle: grizzly


Any olive dubbing would work, but I was playing with blending dubbings, so this is what I used:

Hopper body dubbing (“parts” measured visually)
1 part black rabbit
1 part bright yellow rabbit
2 parts caddis green rabbit
1 part olive hare's mask
2 parts flyrite dark reddish brown cut to ~¼ inch staple length

Hopper thorax dubbing (“parts” measured visually)
1 part black rabbit
1 part bright yellow rabbit

Flies are in the mail. My tie is one of my go to summer panfish flies but it is sure to work on trout. It is an extended body foam inchworm.

I will get my hopper flies out in the mail within the next two days sorry for the delay. I got a few orders for them and had to put them out first. I will have the swap hoppers done soon.

Well that's what you get when you don't do it yourself. I was out fishing and told my daughter to tag them and my wife to mail them. Well my wife mailed them but I'm guessing my daughter never tagged them. Dan D=delta_dog. I'm also guessing the instructions aren't there either.

Just a bunch of good looking flies got here, you post the instruction here in the thread if you like or mail them if you want. I can make the tags for you when I make my.
