Fishing Kayaks

I fly fish from a Hobie Marage 11 in the backwaters in south west Florrida. The marage drive makes flyfishing a lot easier than paddleing as i have both hands free to cast without placing the pdddle down. I also like a sit on better than the sit in. Much easier to get in and out. If you are using your kayak in shallow water the hobie marage would not be fore you.

Only down side is in shallow water the drive can get in the sand so i must use the paddles.

I use a ping pong paddle to back up and make small moves.

Take your time and try before you buy any craft

You guys are giving me lots of great Yaks to check out. Thanks for all the info! I'm not sure if I'll buy one this year or wait till spring but I'm definitely getting one.
