Just finished off half of the BWO emergers...need to go buy more hooks before I get this done.

Recipe:

- Olive Dun 0/8 thread
- melted nylon eyes
- Partridge legs
- CDC for trapped wing
- Olive dubbing
- paint brush fibbers for tail (should have used pheasant tail, but all I have is dyed yellow)
- Used nymph body is peacock herl that is partly cleaned of hair

Process:

1) Tie on thread to the start of the hook
2) Tie in the eyes and figure eight
3) Put on a 2 mm piece of dubbing
4) Tie in the legs - four on each side
5) Tie in the CDC by the tips
6) Leave all the waste material as long as the hook shank to bulk up the body
7) Dub the length of the hook
8) Tie in the tails
9) Tie in the Herl
10) Take thread to the middle of the hook
11) Tie down the CDC wing
12) Super glue the nymph body and wing on the Herl
13) Tie off the Herl in the middle of the body and whip finish
14) Finger nail polish on the whipped thread and nymph body and flatten down the herl fibers on top to flatted out the body

Figured I would do a whole Czech style fly with all the ingredients and would not skimp on the hook. Specially with you being in the swap, I had to impress!

It was the only pack of hooks I had of that kind. Will need to place an order now that I am out.

Anyone in this swap have BelAirSteve's address? I want to get these things mailed so I'm not holding up the swap. They're just sittin' by my door waiting.

Hey guys, I'll get an update out tomorrow. I was without power for 48 hours thanks to Irene, and on top of that, I started a new job today!

got your PM B.A.S. I'll get 'em out tommorow. I forgot about that hurricane thingy.

I have not received a PM with address. My flies are ready to go.

Well I hope my flies get there in one piece...
