2013 PAFF Instructional Jamboree (aka Newbie Jam) - March 16th

Sorry, it was the dog. :) I plead temporary insanity.

No offense meant to the dog (or to v-nurse). Dunno what I was thinking....

Easy mistake since I mostly see Volksnurse looking up in trees! :pint:

LMAO......that will NEVER happen. Pat were you drunk when you posted that?

Drunk? No. Working on very little sleep, and doing a poor job at multi-tasking? Yup.

I was organizing my recent fishing pics, including the outing with Foxgap and V-nurse. Somehow the name stuck in my mind and I typed it in there. I'm too young for this crap....

Lol......it's ok Pat when you fish with a the geriatric crew(Ed & George) their dysfunctional habits are bound to rub off a little.

Who Let the Dog out?

Hey Ed, thanks for your confidence!! I'll be ok except for the Entomology. But I'll help hold the net!!!

Quick bringing gear question?

I read through the 9 pages and didn't see it, but what size and wt rod would be of good use for the in stream.

Sorry I have never fished that stream.

Thanks

8 or 9 foot rod in a 4 or 5 wt will work just fine.

I'll be bringing a few rods to sell. Not sure what ill be bringing. They will all be very reasonably priced and ready for a new owner. So bring a little extra cash with ya if your lookin for a new rod.

Ed,

I will also instruct on how to set up and properly fish an indi rig. See photo...... any quesitons?

If anyone wants to work on set ups for steelhead and salmon, I'll have to see if Josh is free to teach a seminar.

Nice - Mitchell 308? Got a bunch of old Mitchell reels in my collection. Best reels ever.

I think the proverbial "birds nest" is something we don't need to teach. They are.......inevitable. :-(

Lmao Andy. I think I remember you having that mess on the Delaware.

I took the pic. It was josh with the snafu. I've had quite a few of those. 4 nymph rig, indi, wind and trying to cast 50' while sitting in a pontoon equals lots of re-rigging.
