Hey Fred,

While I agree the majority of threads and posts on here are about FFing for trout. The posts above prove that a good many PAFFers fish for other species besides trout. They just don't get as much "ink" as the trout do on here. I'm not sure why that is, but all types of FFing stories, info and reports are welcome.

I choose what species I'm going to fish based on the time of year for the most part. Mainly Largies and smallies during the warmer months with musky, carp, and trout sprinkled in. Colders months mainly trout with pike and musky sprinkled in. During spring and fall it's not uncommon for me to go smallmouth one day, trout the next day, musky the day after

If you find them, they are easy to catch on the fly in rivers.
