Sweet! I love these swaps! I always learn something. It's great to be able to see and fish a fly pattern that other fisherman like and really trust.

Nice! That filled quick! I look forward to everyone's ties. I recognize past swapee's names and gotta say we're all in for some awesome bugs. Spring is coming, and this swap has perfect timing.

Here's my pattern....

Hook- sz 10 2xl dry fly hook
Wing- "coastal" deer hair
Trailing shuck- brown Z-long
Ribbing-Corticelli brown silk. Silk holds color when wet...

I love this fly. I use it on all streams I fish and have hooked some big fish on it!

Not the best pic, but here's my contribution. Intended as an iso, but i've also used this as a big MB spinner.

Tying style based on don bastian's comparadun...this video is an awesome demonstration of the style. His speed and efficiency still blows me away.
