trying the new FTD bait fish hair (like deer hair stiff) and baitfish flash hair. Really nice material easy to use. these are on 4/0 hooks 6" long. chartreuse on hasn't been trim yet

Whats that material? They look so simple which is great for a fly that you know is going to get stuck on the bottom and lost! Smallie killers right there!

they dont get stuck, ride point up just like a jig. estaz in these.

Nice, I tied some up in 2021 and didn't get to fish them.

Rosenbauer's podcast this week is about cicadas. They spent some time on carp. It may be worth a listen.
