I’ve had the same spring…virtually no fishing because of kids baseball. But my youngest son starts practice for his fall soccer league in July and my wife wants my oldest to play fall baseball. I’ll keep tying flies that I’ll probably not get to use.

I've got one kid playing softball and one playing baseball. Some weeks we're at the fields 6 days, but I mostly enjoy it. I've never been at all an organized sports person, so it's kinda fun to be a fan for the first time. However, tonight we spent two hours plus listening to redneck dads heckle and get aggro with the (all volunteer) coaching staff.

Oooh, right, that's why I've always hated this.

Luckily, I have had a couple trips on the calendar throughout the spring, and I graciously allow myself to miss games in those situations.
