A few of the barred tail Woolybuggers I've been working on, along with a few Light Cahill drys.

Some crayfish with silicone skin and buried rattles.

Sorry about the blurry photos, it's my lousy phone camera.

I have found pink to be a great color for cold water trout. Do they mistake it for an egg? I dont know. Winter and early season trout seem to like it.

Here is a pink hares ear. Wifey calls it the "Playboy" because of the pink bunny strip. Needed to restock after a few outings this winter.

HOOK: Scud #14
BEAD:7/64 silver
THREAD: 8/0 Hot pink
TAIL: Guard Hares from pink rabbit "zonker" strip
RIB: XS Silver wire
BODY: Pink under fur from pink rabbit "zonker" strip
WING CASE: Large mylar, "Mirage"
THORAX: Guard hair from pink rabbit "zonker" strip

In my first few days attempting to fly fish I actually had success, particularly with brookies, using those god awful pink and bright blue flies that used to come with low end flyfishing outfits like the one i was using. Many years later I returned to the first stream I ever flyfished and had tied some wet flies in those old colors just to see. They worked again.

A few flies for Project Healing Waters. Holsinger's Fly Shop asked their subscribers to help out this year so I threw together some frenchies, hares ear, squirmies, and a pink nymph with silver tinsel rib, pink bead head, black thorax, and tinsel tail I call it the diva nymph for my daughter. I use the cup to dry the heads and also to collect my clippings and trash.

Yea it is and I colored it to match the body. There is another stretch tubing dam underneath the squimpish hair to prop it.
