I was inspired by tewart in the "Fly Swap Fall 2015" thread, I researched Harry Murray's Strymph pattern and tied up a couple of black ones today. This just looks like an all around good addition to the streamer box. Hoping to try to dredge some big brownies out of some of those prime lies and undercuts this winter.

ribbing yellow fly rite poly in split tread, sparse.
Thorax, yellow fly rite. A bit heavier than ribbing.
Hackle, hen grizzly.

thread: olive
eyes: see below
tail: marabou
body: swannundaze or d-rib etc
wing case: olive magic foil, scud back etc
thorax: slf damsel olive dubbing

example of fringe beads

thread 2 fringe beads onto a short length of wire and twist until tight. i added a drop uv resin to help spread them apart. tie them onto the hook and make some figure eight wraps between the beads.

if youre lazy and dont want to twist up any eyes just use peanut beads
