Nice jack, quite the color selection. Those bodies look cool.

Thank you Jim.

Nothing need to do some fishing to get on another kick.

Double Bunny (after losing one to a bad knot on the Juniata):

Also finally broke down and bought some bucktails to tie clouser minnows:

Nice job Jeremy. I really like the look of that Double Bunny pattern. The Clousers are good too. You should do well with all of them on the Big J.

I have been tying a lot of big stuff lately so I had to try to tie something small just to see if I still could. And, it ain't gettin' any easier. Here is a version of the Rainbow Warrior that I tied tonight on a size 20 hook. Something to fish on the point of a tandem rig this winter when fishin' those limestoners.

I really like those. Simple and they get down fast. Nice job.

They look great. I like when you can tie a fly with minimal materials that will catch fish. Great proportions and profile.

Thanks dc410. I have yet to catch a trout an a size 20 anything. Probably because I hardly ever fish them! I have tied some zebra midges and some wd40 in sizes 18-24, but have never had any success with them the few times I fished them.

Nice John, those should get you into some winter trout.

Nice DC410. I've been meaning to tie a damselfly nymph imitation other than just a wooly bugger. Do you fish that fly on a dead drift, or slowly retrieve it?

May be a little late in the season, but I just tied a few poppers with a Wapsi foam popper kit that I bought a couple months ago. About a size 4 hook, pencil style bodies painted with acrylic paint and coated with Sally Hansen's.

I've had this craft foam forever and I've never really tied much with it. Here's some attempts at a stonefly and hopper.

I like the way you marked up the foam, and used barred rubber legs. That's one thing that I don't like about craft foam - the color is too even, so it doesn't look natural. The markings you put in it help.

Also what's the leg on the hopper made of? Knotted pheasant tail?

The legs on the hopper are knotted fibers from a wild turkey tail feather. I've got 2 whole fans so I try to find uses for it but it's not much different than pheasant tail. I think they are the same feathers that fly shops sell as cinnamon tip turkey feathers. I agree with you 100% on the craft foam, colors too even, tried to break it up with marker and dubbing on the hopper. It helps but it's still lacking IMO.

Nah...I caught a few bass looking up this past weekend. Those'll do nicely!

Dcap, those foam flies are excellent...would fish em in a heartbeat.

Same thought process w/ the topwater here...been practicing my stacking.
