Wet fly/nymph swap

So, Jeremy- how are we doing with about 2 weeks left? Just curious.
 
Flies are in the mail.

What I originally tied I felt was too similar to another and I got grannoms on the mind. Simple peacock and partridge with chartreuse ultra wire as an egg sack. Only thing I really did different was tie in the herl from the front and then counterwrap with thread for some added protection. Thought the egg sack was enough flash. Hope everyone likes them, everybody's flies look great. And lastly thanks J for running the show.

Slashed my fingers pretty good. Recovery is taking longer than I thought. Hard to weave when you can't put pressure on the thread! Will be done this week. I should have finished them weeks ago before I got knife happy cutting up venison roasts.
 
That's what happens when you start dreaming of eating it while you're cutting it! Allan, I hope you didn't carve yourself up to bad. We've all done it, butcher enough meat and it's bound to happen eventually.

@Krott243 - what's the tail on those nymphs? In your picture it almost looked like moose body hair or something. Now that I see them in person I'm not sure. Is it just deer hair?
