Thats were Pad and I stayed when we were up there, very nice place. We stayed in one of their cabins along the stream. I would stay there again. Only bad thing the fishing wasn't very good there at the time!

I don't make enough $$ or don't feel like paying the price to stay there. Stayed there 20 yrs ago but that was about it.

I'm sleeping in my truck! With Miss Hancock 2010 and her lonely tooth!

Miss Hancock has a beard and hunch back this year. Might want to think that one over. She will share her chew with you though.

Maybe we can share spitters to nothing more romantic then that!

Ok looks like i can work this out long as I can get back to the Lehigh Valley early enough Sunday night (Have a gig at the Sands Casino the 26th).

Is it too late to get in on this?

Any Lehigh Valley area folks want to car pool/share expenses?

It is never too late. You've got to set your own reservations for a room though. There were a few guys from LV thinking about giving it a go. You should be able to find another guy to share the drive or share the room.

Check in with the guys that posted #8 and #10 on this thread. That might work out for ya. Check w/ JayL and see if any of his buds are coming and want to split a room. According to Alpa, he will be sleeping in the bed of his truck and sharing 'spitters' with Miss Hancock 2010. :)

Capra Inn 607-637-1600

Gene and Ines run the place. Tell them you're with Andy, Kramer the dog and the group of PA flyfisherman.

Well, it's been brought to my attention that only 2 reservations have been made at the Capra. Hmmm. If any of the 9 other people that said " I'm in " would please call and get your room booked, it will lower the room rates by providing a big group. If there's an emergency or the river is flooded, you could always cancel the reservation. If you are staying at a different location, just let me know so I can give the motel an estimated head count.

The list of participants so far is:

Me & Josh
jdaddy
JayL & his buddies
Flyswatter
AFISHN
Alpabuck
nickyboy
Trowpa
JerseyGeorge
Mcwillja

A couple of others are on the fence. If you know the other guys and want to share a room, PM them. If you don't, introduce yourself and get paired up if you want to split a room.

Thanks.

Andy

I called to get a room reserved! Sorry, was procrastinating again.

**IMPORTANT** In NY, the landower owns the stream bottom. Wading or parking your boat where there isn't an easment would constitue trespassing. I found this out this spring when an irate landowner yelled at me.

Well if Josh would quit defecating on peoples property . . . .

None of us are current or former 2+2 members, I promise.

Does the brown trout sleep in the closet?

BTW: Booked room at the motel for Jay and I today.

I booked a room at the Capra for the 24th and 25th. See you guys there. I may be coming up with someone but I am not sure yet.

I'm organizing / self funding a raffle of sorts. It looks like we'll go the Border Waters Outfitters Shop and Coz will sit us down. He'll give a little talk about the Delaware River System and Friend of the Upper Delaware. Q & A time, raffle off some goodies and maybe a little shopping.

At this point, we've got the following and I'm trying to work on a few other goodies.

JayL offered to tie up a half dozen custom leaders

Josh is building 2-3 shadow boxes to hold 4 flies each

Alpabuck is donating a new Orvis Wonderline (4wt)

I've bought a Reddington RS4 fly rod (9' 4wt) and a Ross Rhythm 1.5 reel as the 'grand prize'. I'm hoping to find a few other things or maybe Coz will donate something.

Things are looking good so far.

After Fishidiot's stellar showing at planning and coordination, you've got your work cut out for you. One of your friends has informed me what an obstacle planning may be for you.

Have you considered a bake sale? :)

I like pie!

For God's sake!! (apology to the Athiests on here). I've put together a rod reel combo that retails for $350+.... out of my own pocket no less. I thought I was doing pretty good but it seems that isn't good enough?!?! So, if you would make the trip, win the rod/reel, you'd give it back? Brandon from the Catskill site said that he'd donate a Scott fly rod. Does that sweeten the deal anymore? I'm also trying to get a chest pack, some hemostats and DVD's (RISE, etc). Don't forget, this is self funded and I have to get 3 pairs of shoes a year for my dog. He goes through them like they are free. If anyone wants to kick in some money or gear, feel free to. I'm not going to complain.

Alpa,
You'll get your pie from the Circle E Diner and LIKE IT!

I just got a call from a shop. They are going to donate a TCX, Hatch reel, spun backing with sharkskin line! OK, I just made that up. I've never organized a group or raffle. Instead of an A for effort, can I get a B-? Dave set the bar pretty high with the WW JAM. I'll have maps, directions, phone numbers on a sheet for each person. I'm just hoping it doesn't take 3+ hrs to get out of the river like the last cluster f we had up there.

I don't know the girls in the Circle E are awefuly nice but not real lookers . . . . .

Oh. That kind of pie! Ya, real good food there for sure.

BTW, for those not in the know, this raffle Sight is doing requires no ticket purchase, contributions, etc. It's just straight up free, so ya, I think it's pretty awesome.

Just sent PM for my donation to your efforts. You know, maybe you should charge for raffle tickets and donate proceeds to FUDR or something?

You're not even sellin' tickets Andy? Jeez. Good stuff man. We all appreciate it.

Show up a Coz's for the little seminar and your name goes in the fish bowl. We'll have him draw names. Should be pretty cool. Jdaddy said he'd donate a frog hair tippet set 4x-7x! Getting better.

jdaddy came up with a great idea. We can sell tickets for the raffle and the money will be donated to FUDR. Everyone good with that idea?

Put me down for a maybe +1 buddy. Classes start for us in the beginning of September, but I think we can make it down over the weekend.

A couple of questions....

Will the water be too cold to skin wade that late in the year? (I've never been out that way).

Also, is anyone going to head up to Deposit and Hale Eddy? I know it's in NY state but it's suppose to be fantastic up there. I own both a NY and PA license, so it doesn't really matter to me, just curious.
