Any suggestions for Tent/ Car Camping in the area?

Can't say I know for sure...

But, be careful with that. I was up there the last few days of October into the beginning of November and got snowed in. Don't wanna camp through that.

Bars are everywhere... that shouldn't be a problem.

We only tented once, the rest of the times we got a cabin for the week. Nobody bothered us for brining beer into the park, but if you're in the tenting area, I would strongly urge you to obey the "Quite Hours."

i think there's one called Stony's Campground off the main drag there too.

Stoneys is nice, just don't rent one of the campers. :-o Jack's camper at the jam was a palace compared to those. I had two buddies who are definitely appalachian americans, and they refused to fall asleep in one. Other than that it's not too bad.
