in all seriousness, I once walked back to my car after fishing a posted pocono resort stream to find local police waiting by my car. I had a daily permit, so it was, uh, fine, but I dont like dealing with authorities, or wasting their time. since then I have gotten a second permit copy and left it on the dash when I have been back there.

Good read. Could someone just name this place? Everyone seems to know exactly where this is but won't say where it is. It's not like it is spot burning. Thanks in advance

That's because on the way out you will be running too fast to read it any way. :-D

Seems like 47 people gave their two cents in this thread. Six pennies more and we would have a dollar! We could use that dollar to pay part of Jesse's fine after he gets caught!

This was extremely entertaining to read. I think the common sense thing to do would be to ask the park if the no trespassing applied to fishing the stream. If they confirm yes, then find out who to talk to about getting it opened for fishing (see previous posts). In the meantime, go fishing somewhere else.

Something I do wonder, and maybe someone who has fished the stream can answer, is this: Is the stream posted where you can see it from above or below in the open areas? Or just the general area when entering on foot directly to that area. I can see some ambiguity if you entered the area through fishing it legally, moving through the water, and no signs were around. Ultimately still illegal (based on interpretation of LE) but a cause for possible confusion for sure.

I believe it's the quarry on 345 in French Creek State Park near Sixpenny Creek.

Oh my, we are in dire (or would that be dyer?) straits now... Looks like some revenue enhancement for the SP system coming up :)

You must have failed math.
There are signs as you walk downstream from 345, saying this area is closed. It is patrolled and since the person asking has posted this on an internet message board if he were caught he'd probably get the maximum penalty.
As I said in a previous post the stream in the park is listed as brook trout, it is mixed population down closer to the mouth, and since it isn't dammed down there the trout probably move in and out of the river.

salv,
of all the songs I thought I would hear on this website that would be the last one. However 40 ounces to freedom is in my top ten albums of all time, love it! I cant take pity of men of this kind even though he now takes it in the behind.

47 fly anglers want to donate 2 pennies each to help a misguided yute get out of jail. It will cost 1 dollar to spring him. how many more pennies will it take to foot the bill?

Answer : Six pennies

You must be using Common Core Chaz?

I was hoping this thread would come back.

I was hoping it would die or get Hijacked as it #Has been as usual

Yeah, I think chaz must have been the one who failed math. lol.

thanks for the info chaz, I've never been there. No thank you for the comment on my math skills. If you need me to tutor you, I would be happy to.

Surprised this thread is still going.
