If you know someone looking to learn the basics of fly-fishing, the PA Orvis stores in Pittsburgh, Downingtown, and Plymouth Meeting and just across the border in Marlton and Princeton, NJ are all offering free FF101 classes for beginners in April, May and June. All equipment needed for the class is also provided free of charge.
The classes cover basic casting, rigging, knots and flies. You can go to the store page or call to sign up or receive more info.
