Decided to give this articulated streamer thing a go. First one is craft fur I found at michaels cut zonker style with sulky thread for flash, deer hair collar, and an orange ice dub/rusty brown head. Second is my improvised version of galloups sex dungeon and the last one is basically a double-wolly bugger type thing. This was my first time playing with these and also spinning deer hair so it's a little messy and i definitely need more materials and practice, but boy are these fun to tie. Anyone else tie big stuff?

I think I'm going to fill up the streamer box first this tying season, clean the rust out before I progress onto the tiny stuff

Those will fish. I use the double bugger a lot in the Catskills. Bulk up the lead, maybe even use one hook size bigger for it if you haven't. If the lead is bigger the tail will wiggle more. Also not a bad idea to wrap the wire towards the hook eye and then wrap the tag back towards the bend to help tri force it. Love it in olive and black.

Started to explore articulated streamers for trout before I took a job in south florida.

Brian Wise has several good tying videos on youtube. He is normally tying large patterns though fishing for those big White River browns.
Would be good in the Lehigh, or Delaware I'd imagine.

I've caught the bug for these streamers. I went fishing on Friday at a local trout stream and I had a monster on. The largest fish I ever had on in this waterway. Sadly, the fish came unbuttoned.
