So I started tying again, and am getting geared up for the sulphur swap. See my post in that thread for a couple of pics. This is a hendrickson snowshoe emerger I like...let me know what you think.
Looks like a winner. I tie something similar but with cdc wing. May have to try snowshoe hair this year too. What is the rib material? It adds some nice sparkle.
Yep, I do that too...copied a pattern I saw on a fly tying blog and liked the way it looked. I tie most of my emergers on curved hooks. Can't really tell from the pic, but that is tied on a curved nymph hook, not an "emerger" hook.
