hook sz 4 mustad 4xl
thread black unithread 210 denier
weight large dumbell eyes tied clouser style so hook point rides up
eyes plastic 7mm craft store eyes
tail most are dark grey a few olive abd a few black rabbit strips
body same as above '
flash i got creative some have a root beer krystal flash some have pearl krystal some have peacock krystal and some have pearl flashabou
weed guard 20 lb mono

The flies posted so far are really nice, so I humbly submit these for my first swap. This fella and 19 of his closest friends will be in the mail by Friday.

The basic recipe is:
Hook: Mustad 9671
Thread: Danville waxed 6/0 red
Eyes: Small gold bead chain (Wapsi)
Tail: Black rabbit fur cut from Bunybou strip (Hareline Dubbin)
Legs: Red medium round rubber (Hareline Dubbin)
Body: 1 black ostrich herl and 2 natural peacock herl twisted onto thread to form chenille
Hackle: Over-sized grizzly hen neck feather
Dubbing: Black ultrafine

I'll write a SBS to explain some of the unusual bits and e-mail it later this week.
