There are dozens of good wild trout streams within 2 hours of Philly. The biggest question is when to go and and frankly it's not during a weekend. 2 hours from Philly will get you to the Poconos where much the land is posted, but there are plenty of places to fish public water that isn't very crowded even on weekends.
If you go via the Turnpike the Mahoning Valley Exit, sorry I never memorized the numbers of the hits, get you to a bunch of streams.
Further up at the new exit by Hickory Run Rest stop will also get you to a bunch of good streams. So will the I80 exit. That's about 2 hours from Philly.
Of course if your time is limited, you can get of at the Lehigh Valley exit and fish the valley streams.
