What Are You Tying Today?

Marabou and bucktail smelt freestyle.

I've been seeing people having luck with pink for lakers up in the shallows. Hoping to make it happen
 
Size? Materials?
Hook: partridge K4AY-SE. Picture is size 16
Thread: white GSP 18/0
Shuck: brown zelon
Abdomen: palmered golden sulfur EP TP fibers (there’s also a lighter color called sulfur body)
Thorax: yellowish orange polyantron dubbing (also tied in a soft yellow and darker orange)
Wing: pale yellow CDC puff

Parachute Adams in size #16 are my favorite dry fly. I also tie a few #14s and #18s. I vary the way I tie some of them, and for good measure I might throw in some Purple Haze.

I might have enough material left to tie a few more Parachute Adam’s when these flies are gone, including my supply of grizzly hackle. (One Hoffman Platinum grade saddle, for example, might be good for 500 dozen.) One memorable evening on the Yellowstone River I caught 30 trout in I hour using just one Parachute Adam’s. I wonder how many fish you could catch on 500 dozen dozen of them?
