Top 10 Trout Streams in PA (only name brands)

According to a 2001 list compiled by DEP there are 46 streams named "Pine Run" in PA.

Feel free to put them in any order you wish. 😉

I have the list in a good old fashioned 3 ring binder!

There are 63 Laurel Runs. )

78 stream names begin with "Mill."

May as well count ALL the Fishing Creeks too. There are at least 3 of them in the counties around Harrisburg, and many more elsewhere in the State.

I counted 63 Laurel Runs and 52 Mill Creeks. (But check my work, I'm not great at counting.)

There are 65 Laurel Runs, 21 Mill Runs and 52 Mill Creeks on that same list...

Throw in the 46 Pine Runs and a couple of Laurel Brooks, Laurel Creeks and Laurel Forks and he can make up 19 top 10 lists. 😉

Actually there are more Laurel Runs than Mill Creeks, 65 versus 52.

However , if you count Mill Runs, Branches, Forks, and an occasion Little Mill you have a winner. 😉

'Cause based on the DEP list, there ain't a single Mill Stream in PA.
