Anyone else like this idea?
Would make it easy to carry and dry.
I don't carry much if anything with me so keeping it on my belt would work perfect.

I guaranty that I would still end up losing them. I have this:
http://streamworks.com/product/chest-fly-holder-foam/
It has slits in it to allow air to get in plus it closes just like a fly box so nothing falls out. I sewed it fast to my vest where the vents are and absolutely love it! That round thing looks too bulky to me plus I could see jumping over a log and having a stick go in it and poke out my flies or something like that.

I like the idea of carrying less. A shirt with button pockets to hold a couple altoid tins and a lanyard is all I need. Hard to improve on that.

I mostly would be using this at the beach or bay for striper, or reds in OBX. Hate kayaking with so much gear.

I love that idea. I lose so many flies on the drying patch of my pack. I either bump them off with my arms or hit trees.
At first I thought it looked huge from the top pictures but the video makes it seem much smaller. So small in fact I wonder how many big streamers, say for stripers, it could hold. I could pack enough size 16 dry flies for a month in there but 2/0 deceivers might be another matter.

piece of foam stuck on the inside of yak would be better for salt water than that

I have one on order, should be here by the end of the week. I also have a CF patch that i use. I will end up using both, i use my CF patch alot and im sure the tube will work just as well.
