Well, my brother and i actually went out and braved the weather on the day before Easter in Venango county. The air temp was 34 and the water temp was 38. Amidst all the flurries, all out blizzard snowfalls and cold temps i managed to go 5 for 6. 2 nice browns (10 and 11 inches respectively) and 3 brookies (all 5-7 inches). The one i missed was a real nice brookie of about 10 inches. The little devil cames towards me instead of away from me so i couldnt get the slack out of my line quick enough. He threw the hook and left me with a nasty tangle that took about 10 minutes to undo. All in all a nice day of fishing. All fish were caught on an olive bead head mini bugger made from ultra chennile with ostrich herl for the hackle. Here are some pictures...
