Stocking segment on ABC 27

Hey, the guy's got conviction. I'll give him that. He ain't no quitter..
And when he presents himself the way he does in the interview it is way easier to get behind his message. Online he takes a completely different approach and it makes him come across as the heel in the situation. I have tried telling him that and I don't know if he just doesn't care or if he doesn't get it.

No doubt.. we've all tried to reason with him.

The comment below is me playing the devil's advocate.

What if only brook trout were stocked and they weren't being stocked over wild brook trout? Then we wouldn't be spreading invasives, right?

“Commission staff have documented wild brook trout in nearly 9,800 stream miles in the last 40 years, and only about 10% of these stream miles are stocked with hatchery trout,” the statement read.

So, hatchery trout are being stocked over brook trout in 980 miles of stream? That's a lot.

And is the 10% number just for PFBC stockings? Are coop hatchery stockings additional to that?

Also, a large percentage of the 9,800 miles are on very small first order streams.
