Hook: Steelhead streamer, 2/0-8 (this one's on a Dai Riki 899 in size 2)
Thread: Black 8/0 UNI thread
Tail: Red Hackle Fibers
Rib: Silver Oval Tinsel
Body: Orange Ultra Chenille
Hackle: Brown
Wing: Pearl Krystal Flash and white calftail


Oh, and Jay348, you get the one in the picture, and Turkey, sorry for stealing your idea:-(

No worries Sniper. It wasn't my idea anyway...it was Jim Pray's IIRC.

I like the hairwings. You can make them as fancy or as utilitarian as you want and they'll still catch fish. Good stuff.

Flies are on their way...I changed up a bit...still basic patterns....

The caddis fly is a tan sticky caddis, a good tan caddis or maggot look-alike.

The hackle flash is a black over chartruese green hackle flash. Maybe a better smallmouth pattern but it has worked on dark water days...
