Skunked on Muskies Again (Despite Good Conditions)

I fished the allegheny today in east brady . Hit some shore line eddies and a nice tributary. Fished for about 4 hours with no luck at all. Should have went to erie instead.
 
Yeah I'm hopin to get 1 or 2 up on the board this year.
 
How many muskies did you guys catch on fly gear last year?
 
Any pics id love to see 'em.

None for me - got out for muskies two or three times and had no luck on either fly or conventional gear in 2011. Did see some very nice fish but couldn't close the deal. I often get a couple small ones incidentally when bass fishing over the course of a year.
Hopefully, this year will be better. I might actually have some time later today to hit a favorite creek mouth - maybe 2012 will be a better toothy fish year.
 
I got into some fish this past yr. Had a couple close encounters.
 
Just moved my only connection to the net right now is my phone. I'll have some up for ya soon though.

Great pics. Love the bloody hand shot (reminds me of some good muskie days). Bass fishermen show off their scuffed thumbs when fishing is good. Muskie guys just look at cuts. 🙂
 
And when its said and done it will traced back to Jims Sports Center!
