silly winter tip !

Everytime i come across a tree branch full of flies I wonder to myself if I know what the hell am I doing?? The flies people use sometimes are amazing. I don't think i ever once thought about grabbing one.

Whether or not I can salvage anything I always harvest fishing"stuff" from the environment. One of the reasons I do this is the natural beauty and want to help preserve it. The other reason is good fish karma.

The only fly I have ever found and fished with was a size 8 white zonker with a gold conehead. I have caught several good brown trout on it. I have not lost it yet and still fish it.
