All my rods have dots too but looking down the guides is a must for me to make it perfect.
Penny- Never wear underwear while fishing it scares the fish away, actually maybe I have that backwards.

It's difficult to have your underwear backwards - Remember it's yellow in front, brown in rear. It's a color coordination thing
