I have a pair of size 12 orvis wading boots that I wore on the stream exactly twice. I love the boots but they are not quite the right size for me. I would prefer a pick up local to Lancaster, PA but would be open to discussion about ship. They are retailing right now for $298 on the orvis website and I would like to offer them at $225. If you have any questions please feel free to send a PM.

Yeah they are pretty great, just a little narrow in the toe box for me.
I had the same problems with 12’s.
Have you tried a 13? I jumped to 13’s about ten years ago and the difference has been night and day. My feet aren’t smushed and stay much warmer. Now I can wear big thick cushioned socks too. Which really helps make my feet feel comfortable hiking around. Also keep in mind the bigger the wading boot the less likely you are to slip or slide. Which means less spills in the drink 🙂

I had a similar issue with my Orvis size 9 (my foot size) Clearwater felt boots, which felt too tight once I actually wore them fishing. When I went with a size 10, and there was a HUGE difference in comfort. All the difference in the world.
