It's like having a ruler that is only 8" long, EVERY fish you catch over 8" you can claim was at least 12"...

...same with the scale, every fish weighs a "pound" which means every fish is most likely over 12".

Zebco marketed scales as "De-Liars", except they were also marked in pounds so maybe they should have been called "Liars"... ;-)
