Maybe it's time to buy a kayak and tie some musky flies.

The kayak may not be a necessity, at least at the time of year and in the seasonally cool water temps during the survey. Given the gear used to catch those fish, all fish were swimming within about 100 ft of the shoreline when trapped.

This is no BS; it’s probably one of the best lakes for big Muskellunge in Pa. and as far as abundance in rivers is concerned, you have another one right down the road in Susquehanna R, Section 05, in its upper half. Sect 05 goes from Rt 462 upstream to York Haven Dam. At Marburg you can use the same flies for Striped Bass as well during the much the same time period. Think white!
