Ii will be in the Dunbar Creek area next week and planning on fishing it. What nymph patterns would be recommended for February fishing? I am thinks PT nymphs, copper johns and hare's ear nymphs. Do BWOs or midges hatch on this creek in the winter? Does anyone have any other recommendations on streams to fish in this area which are wadable?

Beadhead stonefly nymphs are in my arsenal early season. As far as streams, Meadow Run is always a good bet.

Stream is very wadable and fishes better with a little bit of water in it. Upper parts of the stream hold natives and doesn't get a lot of pressure in the winter. Stoneflys, pheasant tails, buggers should do the trick.

There's a lot of native and wild trout streams in that area too, just got to find them

Have some stone flies in dry fly patterns too, they will probably be hatching. Size 16 and 18 black.
