Had a guy who's been tying for over 40 years show me some flies he uses and I went one step further.
first ones I call Mepp's killers to imitate the mepps spinner and the second one's are rainbow, brown and brook trout.

Looks like they would be good shad flies. When are you going to tie them, tomarrow? Look at the date on the pic.

now how does one fish streamers like that stripping or drifting or swinging?

strip, strip, strip fast like a mepps spinner.

Buff,
Thats what I thought of the second group when i saw them too. I'll try and get them tied today for ya.....LOL...

The ones on the bottom look like they would be deadly for Brookies. What did you make the bodies out of sandfly?

I like them sandfly!
Would you send me the recipe too?
Thanks

They look great! Recipe Please?

Sandfly,
What size hooks did you use. I like the brook trout, that should be the best one here, when you have wild browns and brook in the same stream, not that the brook trout don't eat little brown trout.

Ok here is the recipe for the rainbow, brown and brookie
Hook---eagle claw 1197 #6B, N, or G
Tail- red sparkle yarn
body- wool yarn
wings- fish hair
spots and eyes- craft paint.
