My wife ordered me an Epic 9' 4wt kit to assemble. Getting ready to build it.

I'll have a JP Ross Muir blank under the tree - a 7' 3WT 5PC glass blank. I've been intrigued by this blank for a while and traded some PMs with an owner on another forum that pushed me over the edge and landed it on my list. I'm excited to build it out.

Not for Christmas, but soon after I hope to build my first cane rod. I was hoping to make one last winter, but stuff derailed my plans. I got all tools accept rough form and stringer. I appreciated your advice last fall, I may have some questions in January. Fingers crossed I will find the time this year!
