Oh man, Warm Lake Idaho. RT colored streamers right after the first stocking. (big variegated chenille buggers worked well) Like ringing the dinner bell for the big resident fish. When you find the deep hole where they'd stacked up you just kicked your float tube through it over and over. Get dragged and do it again. Watch out for the Moose!

Back in the 50's ? there was a big article on "little brow ,rainbow and brookie" streamers in one of the magazines. I tied and fished them and got squat. They may still be in one of my boxes. " for sale vintage flies". GG
