I picked up an 8wt combo on clearance for something like 40.00 dollars and I love it! The reviews say it is a little slow but I love a slow rod so it is right up my alley, but in my opinion if the sale is still on and you want to get a rod for a beginner or a neighbor or whoever this setup was a great budget combo in my eyes.
