Boa boot closers

What are the advantages (if any) to Boa closers on wading boots vs. regular old laces?

When released the boa system easily loosens completely facilitating easier on/off of the boot from your foot. This loosening is instantaneous. Tightening is not as fast but np slower than with laces.

No laces to come undone and trip over or get your fly caught on.

No fabric to hold water and invasives.
