really? Last I knew it wasn't on the PA approved list of beers. Yeah, such a thing actually exists.

Hmm. Perhaps I am remembering it wrong. Very possible. The foodery has a few hundred individual beers.

Perhaps I saw it in delaware.

If there isn't a field close by we'll rope in or land on a road. Only rule I have for roping in is I am the one that screams GO GO GO GO GO GO GO to all the guys roping out. :lol:

Well, that is a very good point. We'd definitely need to fish to an extraction point.

I remember my dad telling me a story about when his platoon was getting an ammo drop in a VERY small clearing in the jungle during Vietnam. The helicopter dropped an ammo crate on a guy and broke his back. So the pilot lowered the helicopter into the tree line cutting an LZ with the helicopter blades so they could at least lift the guy onto the chopper, since it was droppers fault.

Although, we'd need a very skilled pilot with very big balls to do that. :lol:
 
i guess if i hit powerball my fishing ride would be a 49-53 indian chief with bonneville cams and a four bolt linkert.80" all the way.


i suppose most of you think four wheels when it comes to rides.i think my choices for four wheels would be:

60 studebaker lark
59 rambler custom classic
any year willys steel wagon with a higher geared rear and a more modern engine.
peugeot turbo diesel 505 or 504.
although i do have my eye on a 56 two door chevy wagon,but i think the gas would kill me!

The board kicks out heavy fines for selling beer not on the list.

Total Number of Records: 3,104 - so many beers, so little time.

Edit: There is a problem with that list. Off to OT . . .
 
I have a Mercury Mountaineer right now.

But I had a 91' and 99' Subaru Legacy's before that and I can't say enough about how underrated their AWD systems are.

They are fairly quick, half decent on gas, they ride great like a luxury car, and handle really well especially in rain and snow. I've taken my Subaru's to places no one in their right mind should go in their SUV, and made it back out.

I've had two Subaru's and I plan on getting another one just because they are really great cars.

The older ones sit a little higher, and with the 65-70 series tires on 14 or 15 inch rims, they are more forgiving on backroads than the newer year models with the 55 series tires on 16 or 17 inch wheels.

As mentioned, the Foresters are probably the best, most economical way to get around in tough conditions, a used Forester would make an excellent fishing vehicle, if you don't mind driving around in a goofy looking wagon.

I like the 2011 XT Forester's, not as goofy looking and they are a little beefier.

But, a new car won't be in my budget anytime soon, I'd still drive an older used model.

You wouldn't catch me in a legacy wagon though, maybe an impreza hatchback.
 
I agree with you Jake, even though it's "goofy Looking" I love my 2000 Forester with 140,000 miles. It runs like a top, goes places you wouldn't believe, and despite what the "Hip" crowd thinks, I look quite "Dashing" in it, I must say..........ok, maybe not.

Too much salt spray in the winter on the bike for me. I don't think it will make the icy forest roads for me either. Ahh Chevy Nomad with chains will go most places my truck would.

I own a 1995 Toyota 4runner ,a 2003 4runner,and a 1998 Toyota Tacoma all are four wheel drive,reliable and go where i need em to except for the 95 the other two use lil gas .
