They certainly are aware of product placement. I received the latest issue of Fly Fisherman yesterday. I counted seven Yeti references throughout the magazine. Those were in addition to the standard advertisement and product review.

I realize this is what most print media must do these days.

I have no reason to keep ice for a week or even a couple days. I need a cooler to keep things cold for maybe 8 hours at most. I buy the cheapest I can find. I am liking the bucket though.

Yeti is somewhat overrated i'd rather go for the pelican which has been tested to hold ice longer than the Yeti and other overpriced modelsCoolersjunkie

Yeah, cuz those Pelicans are a real bargain too....$300 for the 50qt. :roll:

And full disclaimer, I do have a Yeti. Got one as a Christmas gift and it is a pretty nice piece of gear. Can't speak to its cooling prowess as it's only February, but it's done a nice job so far.
