Where to start for bigger wild Browns/Brooks?

Id like to start this Theard off by saying I don't mean to spot burn and I don't want anyone to give out their secret honey hole. I also know that there probably threads already on here that cover this topic I just haven't found yet (I found Greenlanders thread from 2011). With that being said I've fishes the Yellow breaches creek in SC Pa for basically all my life and spent a good amount of time in Mountain Creek in Mount Holy. I've caught many small wilds out of Mountain and really want to chase after some bigger wild fish. I spend most my time In SC pa and SE/Eastern Pa, I go home to the beaches ( Im currently in college in Lancaster and my best friend goes to school in Exton). Are there creeks and rivers in these areas that would be a good starting spot for us, again I don't want to burn any spots just looking to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks in advance for any insight.
I've probably crossed paths with you. Unfortunately aside from brood stockers, you won't find many large fish in either of those creeks. Far too much pressure. Imo, your best bet is to study the list of wild reproduction waters and find some sleeper streams that hardly anyone fishes that may not hold big numbers (non class A) but could hold a few tanks in the better pockets. There are a few in the lower Susquehanna valley but far more of these streams north and west of us. Some waters where you could travel and encounter a few very large wild fish would include the little J, and the Clarion river. As far as big brookies.....well, plan on Maine and Canada.

I think enough big wild trout exist in the Yellow Breeches. I caught a decent sized brown in the post-spawning period last year in the special regs section. Other times when I’ve been there at night I’ve heard surface eats that practically make the trees shake.
Naw....that was just fallfish and carp. 😉😉

I think it is BS that they stock ST's in any streams that have wild ST's. They have started to shift to all rainbows in these streams it seems, but not in BS.
So how do we get them to cut the BS with STs in BS and stop stocking the BS ST's? I think the STs in BS have gone through enough BS over the years.

I couldn't agree more with the amount of BS that the ST's in BS have been put through over the years. There is seriously so much BS that has happened to BS over the years, and the continued stocking of the ST's in BS is just a continuation of this BS. Plus, BS's ever expanding population of wild RTs is just one more level of BS that the ST's in BS have to endure right there alongside this stocking BS.

Come on, folks, cut those BS' STs some slack.

Ok I got nothing after that!

The shark has been jumped.

Actually on BS, the RT population declined and the ST population is on the increase in both phases of the habitat enhancement areas.

But I do agree, the history of what happened to Big Spring, a great brook trout stream back-in-the-day, is reprehensible for sure.
