What type reel

Yo Baro - actually, this time of year I start with 7X and usually migrate to 8X. I need finely tuned reels for that and that's how I justify bamboo sticks. It was much tougher 4 decades ago: 7X in those days tested maybe 1 pound, and a wind knot chopped that in half.

Yikes Les. I Can break things by looking at them. 7x and 8x don't even enter my vocabulary. Comparitively speaking I'm using Bale Twine and Fence Wire. The good part is that fishing lily pads no longer scares me.
