small, smaller, and even smaller!
my buddie and i fished the tully last weekend and spring creek this weekend...it was our 1st time to the spring. we had 17 landed between us on size 16/18. the problem was we only had 8 flies between us that small.
also i have to agree that once you start figuring out and catching the wild brown trout, the only other trout that you want to fish for are the synthetic lake run bows. at least that is my opinion. don't get me wrong, i would rather catch stockies (turds) over staying at home but a wild brown caught on a fly that you tied on materials that you harvested on last years hunting license....that is amazing.
