I'm curious. You have posted quite a few classic flies. Well tied I might add. Are you tying several at a time? Are you fishing them?

My take on the front part of the Foam Dungeon as per: https://themissionflymag.com/the-foam-dungeon-sbs-streamer-fly-pattern/ . I am leaving the foam uncut right now, as once on the water I planning on trimming it so it gets down into the water column.

If you can get in and re-whip finish behind the eyes, it will help to create a little thread dam that pushes all the foam in the backwards direction. The trick I've found with these fettuccine heads is having enough foam strips to make a neat head but not so much that you can't spin the foam. A little dubbing behind the eyes could help to push the foam back if thread won't do it.

Thanks for the advice!! Will tie some more in a bit and try that!
