Thanks! I follow Charlie Craven's techniques for tying Humpy's. Works well with one caveat that he has much longer deer hair than I do so using the same bunch for both wings and hump is a bit tricky.
 
Tying up some Red Quill emerger's\wet's. The one's on the left a buddy of mine was fishing with decent success. The hook is essentially bare with the quill (as everything else) is tied near the eye. The "trick" to get the quill's to stay curved is the application of heat. I used a heat gun while wrapping the quill around anything round. Brown quill, brown hackle fibre, mallard duck for wing.

Classic tie is just classic.

Tried tying George Daniel's grannom pupa from a YouTube video. I like the buggy look. Also a friend's caddis emerger.
