I’m not sure when Andy Renzetti made this vise, but it very well could have been not long after he began selling his vises in the early 1970’s. Later models (compare this vise to today’s Presentation 3000 models that sell today for nearly $500) included several modifications, but this vise works well and should last another lifetime of tying flies.
The base on this vise, as you can see in the enclosed picture, has paint coming off in a number of places. If I were to keep it, I’d probably strip all of the paint off, and refinish it with Rust-Oleum spray paint, or the like.
This vise also comes with 2 sets of jaws, that are easily changeable. Both jaws are shown in the enclosed 2 pictures. (For reference, that is a size #20 fly.)
I’ll sell this vise for $125.00 picked up in the Lancaster area, or I will ship it for the cost of shipping, and paid by PayPal.
Send me a private message here to arrange purchase, or wit( any questions.
Thanks, John
